ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE TRAINER I am a creative, service oriented, organized person seeking to branch out and use my skills and talents in other areas of teaching, coaching, consulting, the arts, singing, groupwork, mediation and psychology. I would also like to create opportunities to write creatively and use my artistic talents in film, video, music and dance. For example, this could be a combination of both paths by presenting my unique approach to language training on YouTube. My knowledge of the English language through teaching it over the years, has given me a deeper appreciation which would be an asset as a writer or editing. As an English trainer for business English, I have gained vital skills in negotiating, presenting, running meetings in international settings. This includes understanding how different cultures approach business which without consciousness of that could create unnecessary conflict. Amazingly, through the use of language and its grammar, even conflict can be used as a creative learning process instead of tension and negative results. Understanding the grammar of a language is the door to understanding how a culture structures its thinking, and in fact, how a culture organizes its systems. This realization came by comparing English and French grammar as well as words, and common expressions. This is an important skill in our global economy.
