FAQ
Do I need both Meta Pixel and Conversions API?
Meta recommends running both. The Pixel captures browser events and CAPI sends the same events from your server. I deduplicate them so Meta doesn't count conversions twice.
Will server-side tracking beat iOS restrictions and ad blockers?
It recovers events that browser-only tracking loses, but no setup captures 100% of conversions. Tracking also respects your users' consent choices, and I configure that properly.
What access do you need?
Edit access to your GTM container (or I create one), partner or admin access to your Meta Business account and Pixel/Dataset, and editor access to GA4. I never need your passwords.
Is server-side hosting included?
My fee covers the setup. Hosting for the server container (Google Cloud, Stape or similar) is billed by the provider and depends on your traffic.
Can you fix tracking that's already broken?
Yes. I audit what's firing, find duplicates, missing parameters and misconfigured events, then fix them.
Is this compliant with GDPR or CCPA?
I implement Consent Mode v2 and connect your cookie banner, but legal compliance is your responsibility and I'm not a lawyer.
