I'm Anika Akter, an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Specialist and Quality Manager, working at an accredited laboratory with over 9 years of experience in research & testing, specializing in both microbiological & chemical analysis. Along with the lab analytical skills, my technical proficiency also demonstrates extensive expertise in various advanced instrumentation including HPLC-UV-FLD, LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS, GC-FID-ECD, ICP-MS-OES and AAS-Flame-VP. Throughout my career, I was directly involved in the development and accreditation of many laboratories worldwide and worked with various accreditation bodies.

The Sysco Environmental Laboratory provides accurate, timely, and reliable analytical supports in the UK. My duties or responsibilities include, but not limited to: ▪ To prepare, review, and implement the quality management system (QMS) documents for ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation from UKAS. ▪ To conduct capacity building trainings for laboratory personnel, internal audit, and associated activities conforming to the requirement of ISO/IEC 17025:2017. ▪ To provide full support for obtaining and maintaining laboratory accreditation and continual improvement in the laboratory technical and management system.
