I'm a traditionally published, agented picture book author, born and bred in New Zealand but now living in the UK. I’ve attended numerous workshops and courses on the art of writing picture books and am equally proficient in both rhyme and prose. A long-term member of a critique group where several of us are now successful published authors, I've had stories placed in various competitions and shortlists, and poems published in children's magazines. My most recent picture book was released with Jellycat Books in September 2025.

Meredith reviewed my concept for a picture book series and then the text for the first book. She gave a lot of very valuable constructive criticism. She far exceeded my expectation with the value of her critique. I will be using her services again in the very near future!

only had one book critted so far but plan to have more because Meredith is thorough and knowledgable in rhyme and she gets to the heart of the problem. Quick turn around too which is v helpful as it gives me time to work on comments. excellent research on her part in order to support her views.
