Yes. I'm real, I'm German, I live in Germany, I was raised and grew up in Germany, went to school and university in Germany.
Is this Gig only for English to German translation or also vice versa?
This gig is only for English to German translation.
Can I see a translation you did for someone else?
No, sorry, I treat my clients’ files as confidential. On the plus side, you probably wouldn´t like me to show your documents to other people either, would you.
I´m new here. Can you tell me how Fiverr orders work?
Short version (sorry, character limit!): You choose a gig, order, pay the gig price + Fiverr buyer fee. Seller does your order, delivers, gets gig price - fiverr seller fee. Find everything you need to know here: https://buyers.fiverr.com/en/
Do I have to credit you? Short answer: No.
If you´d like to, I´ll feel honoured if you credit me with "translated by MIIILA" or whatever you'd like. If you actively tell me I may link your website/book/whatever as a credential (free advertising for you, after all!), that´d be great, else I won´t.
What about proofreading?
The general rule of thumb is to not proofread what you wrote yourself (there are exceptions, where it makes sense to some extent, but it's the general recommendation). There are excellent proofreaders on Fiverr, you'll find them in the "Proofreading & Editing" category.
