À propos de moi
Generic career advice doesn't work in medical imaging; the field is too specific for generic advice. I'm a university radiography and CT faculty member, practicing technologist, and national ASRT leader. I teach, scan, and help shape curriculum and hiring standards. Whether you're applying to a program, prepping for an interview, refining a resume, planning your modality transition, or moving into education or leadership, I give you the field-specific read that generic coaches can't. Message me with what you're working on.... Plus d’infos

Clinical Coordinator & Full-Time Faculty

Jeff • Temps plein

Aug 2024 - Present1 yr 9 mos

I lead clinical education for radiography students at one of the nation's premier medical imaging programs. I serve as primary instructor for Computed Tomography Procedures, Cross-Sectional Anatomy, Radiographic Procedures, Radiographic Image Analysis, Radiographic Positioning Laboratory, Radiographic Pathology, and the clinical rotation sequence, and I coordinate student placements across partner hospitals. I also sit on the Student Affairs Committee, which means I see, firsthand, what admissions and program committees actually weigh when evaluating applicants. and I also conduct admission information sessions for new applicants and perspective students.

I practice clinically as a CT technologist at the Nation's first Hospital, part of the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Staying on the scanner floor keeps my advice current and grounded in what hospitals actually hire for, not in textbooks or outdated job boards. I'm also a founding member and Vice-Chair of the hospital's Shared Governance Committee, giving me more insights into standards, staffing satisfaction and improvement decisions, and professional expectations across the imaging department.

Registered Technologist Radiography

Jeff • Freelance

Feb 2022 - Present4 yrs 3 mos

Performed diagnostic radiographic exams across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings in a major academic medical center immediately after earning my B.Sc. in Medical Imaging & Radiation Sciences. This is the exact career pathway from new-grad R tech transitioning into CT, that most of my clients are navigating. I've lived it, including every resume, interview, and modality-transition step that decides whether the transition happens on your terms or not.
