I am an experienced music educator and cultural advocate with over 20 years dedicated to preserving Afghan traditional music. Currently, I serve as the Head of Afghan Music at the Afghanistan National Institute of Music in Portugal and am the founder of Shoghnan Music School. I am the founder of the first music school in Northern Afghanistan and the founder of the Pamir Music Group. My performances have been presented internationally, and my students have performed at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center.
