Completed a 10-week Software Engineering internship at Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), where I worked on the development of an enterprise level Crew Management System using Laravel and Flutter. I developed backend REST APIs for flight schedule ingestion, validation, and filtering, implemented crew pairing and route generation logic for cockpit and cabin crew, and assisted in crew scheduling while enforcing constraints such as rest periods, qualifications, and availability. I built tabular and graphical views to monitor crew coverage and identify shortages, implemented role-based access control (RBAC) for secure access, and designed crew schedule views along with leave request workflows. I also integrated mobile application APIs to allow real-time access to schedules and updates, gaining hands-on experience in building scalable, reliable, and rule-driven enterprise systems.
