I build Excel attendance and payroll files that survive a real payroll run. My background is in-house HR at a telecoms operator: I run the monthly timesheets, overtime and leave records myself, so I know where these sheets break. A holiday landing on a weekend. A blank cell counted as worked. Totals pasted as dead values. Every file is recalculated headlessly before delivery and each figure is checked against an independent calculation.
