FAQ
Which Expo SDK and React Native versions do you support?
I support all Expo SDKs from 44 to the latest (54/55) and React Native 0.66 through current. I always upgrade to the most recent stable release unless you specify a target version.
Do you work with managed (Expo Go / EAS) and bare React Native workflows?
Yes. I handle both. For Managed projects I use EAS Build for dev/preview/production. For Bare RN, I update iOS Pods, Gradle, and native modules manually and verify on real devices.
How do you handle breaking changes in libraries like Reanimated, Navigation, or Gesture Handler?
I read every changelog, refactor deprecated APIs, update animation worklets and navigation v5/v6/v7 syntax, and test screens on iOS + Android simulators and real devices before delivery.
What about custom native modules, patch-package, or third-party SDKs?
I review every native module and patch. If a lib is unmaintained I find a maintained replacement or apply patch-package. Custom native iOS/Android code is migrated to the new RN ABI.
Will enabling the New Architecture (Fabric + TurboModules) break my app?
Not if it is done right. I audit every dependency for New Arch compatibility, enable it gradually, run the full app on iOS + Android, and only ship after all critical flows pass.
How fast can you start, and what if I find issues after delivery?
I usually start within 24 hours. Every package includes free post-delivery support to fix anything related to the upgrade. Just send me a Loom or screenshot and I will jump on it.
