Nerav_Labs

Founder & Principal Engineer

Nerav Labs • Temps plein

Aug 2026 - Present • 2 mos

Founded Nerav Labs and led GabbaiPro from product concept through production as a live multi-tenant SaaS platform. I owned the full product lifecycle including customer discovery, product strategy, UX direction, software architecture, implementation, deployment, and go-to-market decisions. GabbaiPro was designed as a single Next.js and TypeScript platform with three isolated product surfaces: an internal operations console, a tenant administration portal, and a congregant portal. I designed tenant-aware authorization, role-based access, session controls, and data isolation across multiple user types. I also built core operational workflows including onboarding, member and household management, invoices, donations, pledges, recurring dues, events, reporting, support, public tenant websites, and administrative tooling. Key integrations include Stripe Connect, QuickBooks Online OAuth2, Resend, PostgreSQL, Vercel APIs, webhook processing, and automated tenant provisioning. A major achievement was creating a specs-first engineering process with 250+ written feature specifications, QA matrices, regression checks, and formal release coverage standards. This role demonstrates my ability to own a SaaS product end to end, from business problem through production software.

Independent

Independent Product Engineer

Independent • Freelance

Jan 2011 - Present • 15 yrs 9 mos

Worked independently across client and personal software projects, owning discovery, architecture, implementation, analytics, release, and ongoing product improvement. Over the years, I have shipped more than 10 applications across different use cases, including consumer products and health-related software such as CarePilot, a HealthKit-based coordination product. My work has typically involved taking a loosely defined idea or business problem, translating it into a technical plan, defining the architecture and user flows, and then building and shipping the product. I have also published more than 20 Swift repositories used by other developers, reflecting a long-standing focus on reusable architecture, engineering quality, and developer tooling. This consulting work has required strong communication, independent decision-making, scope management, and the ability to move from business requirements to working software without needing a large engineering organization around me. For Fiverr buyers, this is the experience most directly related to custom project work: understanding what needs to be built, choosing the right technical approach, and delivering a finished product.

Shipwell

Lead iOS Engineer

Shipwell • Temps plein

Jun 2019 - Jan 2026 • 6 yrs 7 mos

Joined Shipwell as the sole iOS engineer responsible for an unstable and outdated production application, then led its technical turnaround and modernization. When I inherited the app, crash-free sessions were approximately 50% and the App Store rating was around 2.0. Through architecture changes, reliability work, and systematic quality improvements, crash-free sessions increased to 99.6% and the App Store rating improved to 4.8. I designed modular networking and UI SDKs used across three product lines, reducing duplicate code by 40% and improving feature delivery speed by 60%. I also modernized the platform using SwiftUI, Combine, async/await, and reusable platform components. On the delivery side, I built automated release pipelines using Fastlane, Bitrise, and GitHub Actions, helping cut release cycles by 50%. Beyond hands-on development, I mentored engineers, established code-review standards, and partnered closely with product, backend, and data teams on API contracts, architecture decisions, and rollout strategy. This role strengthened my experience in production reliability, large-scale architecture, CI/CD, technical leadership, and shipping software used in real operational environments.
