Team Member, Retail Products and Sales at United Bank for Africa (UBA), one of Africa's largest financial institutions. I work on product ideation and performance management for retail banking, with a focus on financial inclusion, agent and merchant banking, and digital channel strategy. My work spans product documentation (business requirement documents and PRDs), data analysis for performance tracking, and cross-functional coordination between product, sales, and operations teams. I transitioned into product from an account reconciliation background at a microfinance bank, which gives me a strong grasp of both the operational and strategic sides of banking. Key achievements include leading merchant reward programme design based on transaction data analysis, contributing to loyalty platform and wallet product documentation, and supporting digital migration campaigns that move customers onto new banking apps.
