Heya! I'm an American writer and aspiring author (she/her). I've got a BA in English Literature and currently work as a volunteer proofreader for SmashBear Publishing in London. I can proof both US and UK English. I'm also flexible on the Oxford comma--you call the shots! All too often, proofreaders cannot distinguish between style/art and the tools (punctuation and grammar) which enable a writer to create that art. I understand the importance of voice in fiction, and am highly skilled at producing consistent, proficient, and readable manuscripts--without sacrificing the art.
