Patrick is an excellent beta reader. The feedback was thoughtful, honest, and very useful, with clear insight into character arcs, pacing, worldbuilding, and emotional impact. The level of work he puts into it. Ask question when needed while being honest on his review. Not sugar coating. Not 'I speak the honest blunt truth'. Understanding that there are differences and questions those difference to better understand. Respectful and critical to aspects of wanting your work to improve and not take over.

Working with Patrick was a huge pleasure. As a first time writer I tend to overthink my work, so I was very pleased when the feedback was how much he wanted more of the things I love to write about. His understanding of the market and marketability of work is impressive and I hope to continue to work with him in the future.
