I currently work as an Automation Developer supporting a client’s Shopify dropshipping store operations. . One of the key solutions I built is a supplier monitoring and data scraping workflow. It periodically checks the suppliers’ websites for newly listed products (typically on a monthly basis, depending on the supplier and business needs), collects the relevant product information directly from the website, and exports the results into structured CSV files ready to be integrated into the client’s Shopify store. . I also developed a Shopify API-based automation to keep product inventory updated automatically. To make this reliable, I built end-to-end workflows that continuously pull the latest supplier spreadsheets from multiple sources, including Outlook inbox attachments, shared Dropbox files and CSV files available inside supplier portals. In cases where the supplier only provides the file through their website, the automation navigates to the portal, logs in, and downloads the updated spreadsheet automatically, ensuring the process runs without manual effort. . These automations have improved the client’s operational speed and accuracy by reducing manual work, minimizing human error, and keeping product data consistently up to date. As a result, the client can respond faster to stock changes, avoid overselling issues, and free up significant time to focus on higher-value tasks that actually grow the business. .
