Provide L3 infrastructure support for a large enterprise production environment comprising 950+ Linux and Windows servers and 1,000+ virtual machines. Administer and troubleshoot RHEL, SLES, Ubuntu and CentOS environments, including OS provisioning, patching, lifecycle upgrades, user and group management, filesystem/LVM administration, SSH, systemd services, networking and performance troubleshooting. Administer VMware vSphere environments including ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, vMotion, Storage vMotion, VM provisioning, cloning, templates, snapshots, VMware Tools, vLCM and host lifecycle management. Support Nutanix AHV environments using Prism Element and Prism Central. Perform infrastructure migrations, including supporting the migration of 300+ VMs to VMware Cloud on AWS. Handle SSL certificate installation and renewal, vulnerability remediation using Qualys and Rapid7, server hardening, monitoring, backup validation and Disaster Recovery activities. Resolve production incidents through ServiceNow while participating in incident management, change management, RCA, SLA-driven support and cross-team coordination.
