What is the difference between a character sheet and a plush reference sheet?
A standard character sheet focuses on personality and poses. A plush reference sheet is a technical document that focuses on construction. It includes orthographic views (perfectly aligned front/side/back) so a pattern maker knows exactly how to build the 3D volume and where to place the seams.
Can you work from a rough sketch or just a description?
Yes! I can work from a rough hand-drawn doodle or even a detailed text description. I will refine your idea into a professional, clean layout that looks ready for a factory or a DIY sewing project.
Do the Pattern Guides in the reference sheet work as actual sewing patterns?
The pattern guides included in the reference sheet are visual diagrams to show the maker how the pieces should generally look. If you need a 1:1 scale, printable sewing pattern with seam allowances, please check out my Technical Plush Pattern gig!
Will you include specific fabric recommendations?
Absolutely. Each sheet comes with a Textures & Fabrics Key. I provide recommendations based on the character's look such as identifying which parts should be Long Pile Fur vs. "Smooth Minky to ensure the final physical plush matches the original aesthetic.
