LEGO Aircraft MOC Designer Client Project Experience Designed and developed a highly detailed custom LEGO aircraft model for a client, built at a precise 1:100 scale with dimensions of approximately 71 cm in length and 65 cm in wingspan. The project was created using only around 2,300 LEGO pieces while maintaining strong structural accuracy and advanced functional mechanics comparable to large scale professional LEGO aviation builds. The aircraft featured multiple realistic moving components, including fully retractable landing gear, working rudder controls, functional ailerons, extendable flaps, and deployable spoilers. A major highlight of the project was the implementation of a newly engineered flap and spoiler system designed to closely replicate real-world aircraft wing mechanics for improved realism and motion accuracy. Throughout the project, I focused on optimizing part usage, improving structural efficiency, and refining the aircraft’s aerodynamic appearance while ensuring the build remained stable and visually clean. The final design successfully combined engineering precision, functional LEGO mechanics, and realistic aviation inspired detailing, resulting in a highly impressive display quality LEGO MOC for the client.
