Do you only translate to german?
I can translate everything in both directions. Let me know what you need!
What kind of texts do you translate?
Pretty much everything. From scripts over regular texts to work certificates, textbooks. Basically whatever you need!
What kind of file types should I send you?
Word, txt and PDF documents are preferred. Excel tables are also possible. Please try to submit a well-known file format working on Windows that doesn't require special programs to open/read properly. Unfortunately, MAC exclusive formats like .pages or .numbers don't work for me.
Is there anything you don't want to translate?
Here and there, people ask me about handwritten letters. Unfortunately, I am unable to help you out with those. It would be appreciated if you could only hand in texts in block letters!
Do you also translate Websites?
I do! However, it isn't too helpful to only provide a link to your homepage. Your way around is way better than mine. There is a risk that I am missing something. It would be best to prepare all of the content in Word files so that I can work with my resources in the best way possible!
What about documents like TOS and Privacy Policies?
I do those as well. When the new EU regulations came into effect back in 2018, I didn't do anything else for 3 months straight, doing hundreds of those. So you could say that I am pretty experienced in doing those.
Do you implement given keywords as well?
Unfortunately, translations are not covering the implementation of keywords for SEO purposes since expert knowledge is required for that to get you the results you are looking for. I would advise you to get in touch with an SEO expert after the translation part is done!
Do you offer more specific topics for translation?
Yes! Apart from this general translation gig, I also offer app/software localizations, scientific translations, user manual translations and text/fiction book translations. You can find those specific gigs on my profile page!
Are you also translating academic texts?
Due to the Fiverr TOS, it is not allowed to work with and document that has the goal to get you a grade or degree. The only possible kind of text would be scientific publications to share with the public or science community!
