Professionally writing songs for over 8 years. Did 17 bubblegum pop Taglish soundtracks for TV5's Wattpad Presents Mini-Series (6 seasons, 2014-2016). 2016 Collabs onwards can be found on Spotify under Paula Alcasid. Recently released an original tagalog track on Spotify called "Bakit", and did the demo vocals for "Salamin Salamin" by BINI (2024).
FAQ
Can you professionally edit, mix and master the vocal record to my instrumentals?
No. You need a producer or arranger to do that.
Is your rough mixdown radio-ready? or Spotify-ready?
No. My rough mixdown is a guide on how your performer would sing it or how the producer would mix it. All my previous songwriting (published) works are edited, mixed and mastered by producers/ clients' producers. I can refer you to producers if you need help with mastering.
Can I have the commercial rights?
Yes. As the purchaser/producer of the master recording - you own the rights to the recording. Sell & and use it as you like. Songwriting royalties are collected by publishing firms or FILSCAP/ASCAP for contributors. I retain my songwriting credentials copyright.
What's ASCAP/FILSCAP?
(ASCAP) American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers & its Philippines counterpart FILSCAP are performance-rights organizations that protects musical copyrights music via broadcast or live performance and compensates accordingly.
