For over five years I've led programs, events and operations in South Florida, including a 400+ guest gala, a community fair with 30+ partners and 100+ volunteers, and the systems behind a multi-agency campus. Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the Chamber’s programs, events, and community engagement initiatives to strengthen member relationships, support local businesses, and promote economic growth throughout South Dade. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning and strategic direction of Chamber programs and events. Develop an annual events calendar aligned with organizational goals. Coordinate with Chamber leadership, staff, and committees to establish priorities and timelines. Identify opportunities for new programs, networking events, and community initiatives. Support event sponsorship development, partnerships, and revenue-generating opportunities. Oversee event budgets, logistics, timelines, and performance objectives. Strengthen member engagement, retention, and participation through programming. Build relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and stakeholders. Recruit and coordinate committee members, volunteers, and event partners. Evaluate event outcomes, attendance, member feedback, and financial performance. Recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and long-term sustainability. Provide updates and recommendations to the Board of Directors.
