Long-term enterprise BI engagement for Lagardere Travel Retail - one of the world's leading travel retail operators, with a major presence across European airports and railway hubs. Globally, the company operates more than 4,800 stores in over 50 countries, across more than 290 airports and 700 railway stations, employs over 29,000 people, and generated EUR 8 billion in managed sales in 2025. Led end-to-end business analysis and BI delivery, translating complex commercial and operational requirements into scalable semantic models, KPI frameworks, Power BI dashboards, and decision-ready reporting. Built and maintained dimensional models, Power Query transformations, SQL logic, and reusable DAX measures supporting sales, gross margin, net revenue, customer traffic, productivity, budget, prior-period, and reference comparisons. Delivered executive overview pages, margin-risk analysis, reconciliation views, export-ready reporting, guided navigation, reusable filters, clear metric definitions, and desktop and mobile layouts. Extended the solution as new data sources, entities, business lines, and reporting cycles were introduced, while improving performance and usability. Implemented data-quality controls for duplicate records, grain consistency, source reconciliation, missing values, anomalous results, and exception monitoring. Owned architecture, development, testing, release validation, documentation, deployment support, and stakeholder training. Worked directly with business users from requirements discovery and prototyping through acceptance, handover, and continuous improvement.
