I have 3 years of hands-on experience as an Audit Assistant, working extensively in the areas of Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, Accounting, and Taxation. During this period, I have been involved in end-to-end audit assignments across multiple industries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to applicable laws and accounting standards. My responsibilities included vouching and verification of transactions, preparation and review of audit working papers, ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliations, and finalization of accounts. I have practical exposure to Income Tax and GST compliance, including return preparation, reconciliations, responding to departmental notices, and assisting in assessment proceedings. I possess strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, auditing procedures, internal controls, and risk assessment, along with hands-on experience in TDS, GST returns, ITC reconciliation, and financial statement analysis. I regularly coordinated with clients to collect data, clarify discrepancies, and ensure timely completion of audit and compliance requirements. With a detail-oriented approach and strong analytical skills, I focus on maintaining accuracy, documentation quality, and regulatory compliance. I am proficient in MS Excel, Tally, and adaptable to various accounting and audit tools. This role has strengthened my ability to handle financial data responsibly, work under strict deadlines, and support senior professionals in delivering high-quality audit and compliance services.
