Do I need to send you a Revit model, or can you work from PDF plans?
Both. If you have a Revit model, I extract quantities directly. If you only have PDF or CAD plans, the Premium package includes building the model first, then running the full takeoff.
What categories does the takeoff include?
Concrete, masonry, finishes (floors, walls, ceilings), doors and windows, and structural elements. MEP rough-ins are included in Standard and Premium upon request.
Can the Excel output match our company's budget template?
Yes — send me your template before ordering and I'll format the schedules to fit it.
How accurate are BIM-based quantities vs. manual takeoffs?
Significantly more accurate, since every element is counted from the model geometry — no manual reading of drawings or estimation. Changes in the model update the quantities automatically.
