Overview

The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data in company databases and computer systems. This role ensures the integrity and accuracy of information used for business operations, reporting, and decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, update, and verify data in databases and systems from various source documents.
  • Review data for errors or inconsistencies and correct any identified issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all information handled.
  • Organize and maintain records, both digital and physical, for easy retrieval.
  • Assist in generating reports and summaries as required.
  • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely data collection.
  • Meet daily and weekly data entry targets.

Required Skills and Qualifications
