What’s the difference between Static and Dynamic RLS?
Static RLS assigns fixed filters to specific roles (like “Manager” sees Region A). Dynamic RLS uses the logged-in user’s email to look up their access level in a table — flexible and scalable for large teams.
Will this work on Power BI Service?
Yes, that’s where RLS really shines. I’ll configure it to work with your organization’s Azure AD logins so each user only sees their own data when viewing the report online.
