Designed and implemented a production-grade automation workflow in n8n (self-hosted) for a tours company to process customer communications and payment status. The workflow extracts customer and booking data from non-standardized emails, determines whether payments were completed, and supports multiple payment methods including bank transfer, MB Way, and Multibanco. The main challenge was handling highly variable email formats that changed per event, requiring flexible logic and robust validation to ensure accuracy and reliability in daily operations.
