Can you denoise JPEG or PNG files, or do you only work with RAW?
Yes, I can denoise JPEG and PNG files. However, RAW or 16‑bit TIFF files provide the best results because they contain more image data.
What is the difference between RAW and JPEG denoising?
RAW files are uncompressed, meaning they keep all the original sensor information. This allows for much cleaner and more precise denoising. JPEG files are compressed, which mixes noise with details — so the result is still good, but less accurate and slightly softer.
Will my photo lose details after denoising?
No. I use a balanced workflow to reduce noise while preserving natural texture. I avoid the “plastic” or overly smooth look.
Can you fix extremely noisy photos taken in very low light?
Yes. I can significantly improve them, especially if you provide a RAW or TIFF file.
Do you change colors or exposure during denoising?
