Hi, I'm Reyn! I'm a game designer, illustrator and character artist, and I love turning character ideas into designs that belong in their world.
You don't need to come to me with a finished design. A description, references, a moodboard, a rough sketch, or simply I have this character in my head is enough!
How it works:
I sketch a few different directions
You tell me what works (and what doesn't!)
We develop the character together through iterations
I create the final artwork and views included in your package
I can work with humans, creatures, fantasy and sci-fi characters, unusual species, outfits and more. I'm especially happy when there's interesting lore or worldbuilding involved.
I studied game design and work as a creative director on an indie game, so I approach character design from both an artist and game designer perspective. I think about personality, story, visual language and the world the character belongs to not just making them look nice.

Hi, I’m Reyn! [They/him]
✦I’m a multidisciplinary designer and artist working across graphic design, illustration and game design.✦
I’ve worked with clients worldwide, from esports graphics for the Icelandic Esports Association and board game art to branding, UI, narrative and level design. I studied Game Design at Futuregames in Stockholm and now work as Creative Director on a game at my own indie studio.
Alongside game development, I take on freelance commissions and creative projects — which is what brings me here! ✦

FAQ
Do I need to already have a character design?
No! You can come with a finished idea, references, a rough sketch, or just a description. If we're starting from scratch, I'll explore different directions with you first.
What counts as a revision?
One revision means one round of collected feedback. You can point out several things you'd like changed within that round.
Can you match a specific art style?
I can adapt the direction and level of stylization to your project. Send me references and we can figure out what works best. I won't directly copy another artist's personal style.
Can you design characters for games?
Yes! I studied game design and currently work on game development, so I can design with the character's world, narrative and intended use in mind.
Can I order something that isn't covered by the packages?
Absolutely. If you need extra views, expressions, characters, outfits, accessories or something unusual, message me and I can make a custom offer.
Can I use the artwork commercially?
Yes! Once the project is completed, you’re free to use the final artwork for your game, marketing, social media, merchandise, or other commercial purposes. I only retain the right to show the work in my portfolio and social media as an example of my work.
What if my project is confidential?
No problem! If the artwork can’t be shared publicly yet, just let me know. I’m happy to wait until your project or character has been officially revealed.
