Founder of Kiss and Critique, where I work with romance writers to fix what’s not working at the structural level, before it turns into a full-blown “why does this feel off?” crisis. I’ve worked with both indie and bestselling authors, from messy first drafts to manuscripts that are almost there but not quite hitting the mark. Different writers, same goal: make the story actually work. I specialise in spotting the issues quietly sabotaging your story, like uneven pacing, weak turning points, inconsistent character motivation, and emotional arcs that almost land… but don’t. My feedback is detailed, practical, and actually usable. Writers leave with clear direction, stronger story foundations, and a much better grip on what their story is doing (and what it should be doing).

I can't recommend working with Ritika enough and would do so again in a heartbeat. I hired her for beta reading, and not only did she identify problems keeping a good book from being great, she offered actionable feedback for improvement. She also sprinkled in enough positive comments to soothe the imposter syndrome ;)

This is my second time working with Ritika and it once more such a JOY.
