QA engineer on a product team since 2021. This is my full-time role, not a service I offer here. What it means for the work I do take on: I spend my days verifying that data matches its source — checking what an interface shows against what the API returns and what the database stores, tracing where a value went wrong, and documenting it precisely enough that someone else can reproduce it. That is the same job as delivering a scraped or cleaned dataset. The value isn't the number of rows, it's knowing which ones you can trust. When I hand over data, questionable records are flagged, not quietly passed along.
