Warehouse Operations Direct daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control. Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on schedule. Monitor workflow and adjust staffing and priorities based on volume and business needs. Maintain efficient warehouse layouts, storage practices, and material flow. Ensure equipment, systems, and warehouse processes are functioning effectively. Team Leadership Hire, train, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors, leads, and associates. Establish performance expectations and hold employees accountable for results. Conduct performance reviews and address attendance, productivity, and behavioral issues. Promote teamwork, employee engagement, and a positive workplace culture. Ensure adequate staffing to meet daily and seasonal operational requirements. Safety & Compliance Maintain a safe working environment and enforce all company safety policies. Ensure employees are properly trained on equipment, procedures, and workplace safety. Conduct safety inspections and investigate accidents or incidents. Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA requirements and company policies. Promote a strong safety culture throughout the distribution center. Inventory Management Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, audits, and proper warehouse procedures. Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Work with inventory control and other departments to resolve shortages, overages, and damaged product. Ensure proper handling and storage of inventory.
