I need high-quality 2D photos (front, side, and back) or 3D models (.obj, .fbx, or .gltf) of your products. For makeup, a list of your brand’s hex codes or a physical sample photo is required to ensure the digital pigment matches your real-world product.
How accurate is the "True Size" fitting for eyewear?
Very accurate. I use Lens Studio’s True Size technology, which uses the smartphone's sensors to measure the physical distance between the user's eyes. This ensures the glasses appear at their actual real-world scale on the user’s face, helping them determine if the frames are too large or small.
Can users try on your lenses if they are already wearing glasses?
Yes! I integrate Machine Learning (ML) Glasses Removal components. If a user is already wearing their own prescription frames, the lens will digitally remove them and replace them with your brand's virtual frames for a clean, realistic preview.
Can I embed this virtual try-on directly onto my website?
Absolutely. While the primary delivery is for Snapchat, I can optimize the lens for Snapchat Camera Kit. This allows you to embed the AR experience directly into your iOS/Android app or your e-commerce website so customers can shop without leaving your store.
How do you handle complex textures like gold, diamonds, or silk?
I use PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials and Dynamic Environment Maps. This means your jewelry will reflect the actual light from the user's room, and makeup will have the correct "finish" (matte, gloss, or shimmer) to look authentic rather than like a filter.
Is there a limit to how many products I can include in one lens?
Snapchat lenses have an 8MB–10MB size limit. To maximize your catalog, I use Asset Optimization and External Assets where possible. Typically, I can fit 5–10 high-detail items in a single lens with a "Carousel" UI for easy switching.
Will I be able to see how many people are using the lens?
