• Build and maintain Python infrastructure that continuously collects and processes millions of records from 300+ independent web sources into an analytics platform used by enterprise teams. • Debug for a living: diagnose failures across rendered HTML, JavaScript execution, network requests, third-party APIs and parsing logic, trace them to root cause, and fix them properly rather than patching the symptom. • Design for the failure case — isolate faults so one broken source cannot degrade the wider system, with retry, rate-limiting and validation strategies that keep daily production runs trustworthy. • Own the layers above and below my code: the schemas data lands in, the indexes and queries analysts depend on, and the operational behaviour of the pipeline in production. • Review teammates’ code, write tests for the edge cases that actually break things, and refactor to keep modules maintainable. • Work fully remotely and asynchronously with a distributed multi-region team, coordinating in writing through Git and pull requests.
