Role: Head of Digital Marketing & Content Strategy Tenure: 4 Years (2016 – 2020) Core Focus: Omnichannel Strategy, Video Post-Production Leadership, and Brand Digital Transformation. Over a four-year tenure at Toyota, I served as the strategic architect for the brand’s digital evolution during its most critical transition toward multi-pathway electrification (Hybrid, PHEV, and BEV). Leading a high-performance internal team. My mission was to transform "Beyond Zero" from a corporate vision into a relatable, high-conversion digital reality for millions of global consumers. I was responsible for the end-to-end digital journey of the Toyota brand across regional markets. This involved moving away from static "broadcasting" to a dynamic, data-driven "conversation" model. Omnichannel Integration: I synchronized digital touchpoints—from initial YouTube discovery to the SmartPath retail tool—ensuring a frictionless transition for customers from online research to showroom visits. Data-Driven Personalization: Leveraging first-party telematics from over 20 million connected vehicles, I directed audience segmentation strategies that delivered hyper-relevant content to specific life stages, such as targeting the "Adventure" segment for the Tacoma relaunch and "Eco-Conscious Families" for the bZ4X electric SUV. As an expert video editor, I brought a "technical-first" lens to Toyota’s marketing. I oversaw the output of all digital video assets, ensuring they met the rigorous "Toyota Quality" standard while maintaining the fast pacing.
