I joined WOSH as the first engineer and played a key role in taking the product from an early-stage idea to a scalable production platform. Working closely with the CEO, I helped shape the product roadmap, define the technical direction, and lead development across the full stack. The platform was primarily built using Ruby on Rails, React, Redux, Google APIs, and AWS. I was responsible for key architecture and system design decisions, backend services and APIs, dynamic frontend experiences, Google API integrations, and selected Node.js microservices and utility scripts. I also created technical documentation and architecture diagrams, implemented unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, and managed deployment, reliability, and scaling across Heroku and AWS. Throughout the project, I worked closely with the business side to translate product requirements into technical solutions and continuously improve the platform as it grew.
