Completed a Machine Learning Internship at FlyRank AI, working on a content opportunity scoring project using real client data. What I did: Completed a structured ML curriculum covering data preparation, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation in Python. Built a capstone modeling pipeline comparing Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, and Random Forest models, using a client-grouped train/test split to avoid overly optimistic results. Identified and fixed a data leakage issue in the baseline, which gave more honest and trustworthy model performance. Random Forest came out as the strongest model. Documented the work in Jupyter notebooks with clear methodology and results. This gave me hands-on experience building ML models responsibly, from raw data to validated results.
