FAQ
Q1: What is WCAG 2.1 and do I need to comply with it?
WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) is the international standard for web accessibility published by the W3C. In the US, ADA compliance for websites is largely enforced using WCAG 2.1 AA as the benchmark. In the EU, the new European Accessibility Act (EAA, effective June 28, 2025)
What is the difference between an accessibility audit and fixing accessibility errors?
An audit identifies all WCAG errors on your website and delivers a detailed report — what is broken, where it is, and how to fix it. Fixing means I actually go into your WordPress code, theme, and Elementor pages and correct every error manually.
Can you fix WooCommerce accessibility and ADA compliance issues?
Yes. WooCommerce stores have specific accessibility challenges including cart pages, checkout forms, product pages, and payment fields. These are the pages most frequently targeted in ADA lawsuits against eCommerce sites. My Premium package covers complete WooCommerce ADA and WCAG 2.1 AA compliance
Do you use plugins to fix accessibility or do you fix the code manually?
I fix everything manually in your WordPress theme files, CSS, and Elementor settings. I never use overlay plugins like accessiBe or UserWay. These overlays do not achieve real compliance and have actually been included in ADA lawsuits themselves. Manual fixes are the only approach that creates genui
Will my website be guaranteed ADA compliant after your service?
Yes — for the pages covered in your package, your website will meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, which is the accepted standard for ADA compliance. I provide a before-and-after accessibility report showing the errors found and fixed. If any accessibility issue I fixed reappears within 30 days due to my work,
Do you provide WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility fixes?
Yes. I fix websites according to WCAG 2.1 AA standards, including missing labels, low contrast text, focus issues, heading structure, ARIA errors, inaccessible forms, and navigation problems to help your site pass audits.
Can you fix ADA compliance issues on my WordPress website?
Yes. I manually fix ADA compliance issues on WordPress websites by improving keyboard navigation, alt text, color contrast, headings, forms, menus, and screen reader compatibility. I do real code fixes instead of using overlay plugins.
Will my website pass an accessibility audit after your fixes?
I work to significantly improve your website’s compliance score using tools like Axe, WAVE, Lighthouse, and manual testing. While no seller can legally guarantee certification, I fix issues needed to help pass professional audits.
Can you fix color contrast and screen reader issues?
Yes. I fix low color contrast, missing alt text, incorrect headings, ARIA labels, focus order, landmarks, and screen reader issues for better usability and WCAG compliance.
Why should I choose your accessibility service?
I am a WordPress developer who both audits and fixes accessibility issues. Many sellers only run reports. I manually solve the actual problems on WordPress, Elementor, and WooCommerce websites for lasting results.
