FAQ
How may I use the voice(s) you create for my order?
Commercial Rights (for non-broadcast work) is included in all orders. No permission will be given to create any AI model of any voice I create and/or record. Broadcast Rights must be purchased for TV & radio spots, and for any work used in a paid Internet advertisement or "boosted" online campaign.
What accents or dialects do you perform?
United States [General American; American Northeast (New York, Boston); American Southern (Georgia, Texas); American Northern (Chicago, Wisconsin, Minnesota); American Midwest]; Europe (British, Irish, Scottish, French, German, Italian, Greek, Slavic); Australian and others!
Will you perform multiple voices for a single job?
Generally, if a single work falls within basic service parameters (100 words) I will perform up to 3 voices. Longer works and more voices can be negotiated.
Can you add music and effects to the voiceover?
Absolutely! I can even produce an entire broadcast-ready radio commercial for your character.
What kind of microphone do you use?
A professional XLR mic; either a Harlan Hogan MXL, or an Electro Voice RE20
What recording software do you use?
Adobe Audition for recording, editing, music & effects; iZotope RX for any necessary cleanup
If I have a character that does not fit the ones you list in the gig, can you create an original voice for my character?
Of course! Send me a sketch, a description, an idea, and I'll create a voice!
Can you perform longer scripts and handle bulk orders?
Yes! We'll need to consult about your specific needs. I will draw up a service agreement based on our consultation.
Do you do online consultations?
Yes, I usually schedule these on Zoom, but I can do Google Meetings as well.
