Delivered a successful PJSIP calling stack port to ESP32, enabling high-quality G.722-encoded SIP audio with stable call setup and media performance. Ported MbedTLS to an NXP SoC and leveraged hardware-accelerated cryptography to enable secure, high-performance embedded communications. Executed in-depth MbedTLS benchmarking on Zephyr RTOS and produced performance findings to guide secure configuration choices and platform-level communication strategy. Built low-latency audio pipelines by developing a WM8960 audio driver for Zephyr RTOS on NXP using I²S and DMA, and by designing and documenting a custom ALSA audio plugin in C for embedded Linux integrating third-party DSP libraries for acoustic echo cancellation and enhanced voice processing.
