À propos de moi
Hi! We're Ayla and Kaia, the two behind Shirazaki Team. We love getting lost in a good story and talking about what makes its characters tick. Our interest in psychology shapes the way we read, from a character's choices and relationships to how they change throughout a book.
As beta readers, we also look at pacing, clarity, and worldbuilding. We share what drew us in, where we lost the thread, and why, with examples and suggestions tailored to your voice and the structure of your story.

Beta Reader & Fiction Feedback Specialist
Self-Employed / Freelancer • Freelance
Jul 2026 - Present • 4 mos
Working as part of Shirazaki Team, a two-reader collaboration focused on fiction and narrative feedback. Every manuscript is read and discussed by both Ayla and Kaia, combining an analytical review of structure, pacing, continuity, clarity, and character logic with an emotional review of atmosphere, relationships, tension, and reader engagement. We deliver organized reports with clear priorities, scene-level observations, and practical revision suggestions while preserving each author’s voice. Our experience includes short fiction, promotional stories, and long-form manuscripts exceeding 100,000 words, as well as ongoing collaborations with returning Fiverr clients.

Another excellent beta read. They're a talented team and excel at their craft. I introduced a promotional prequal short story to my main story that I had them beta-read previously, and they kept the continuity with the original story. They are top-tier in their reporting. No doubt I'll be able to polish...

What an excellent beta read. The report was so detailed and the attention to detail was exceptional. The report was very honest and direct, yet very polite. It will undoubtedly help me with my final self-edits on my story. I will definitely be back again with the next part of my story. Thank you!

I am astounded at the care and quality put into this beta read. They gave me detailed feedback with clear suggestions of what can be improved and how, while recognizing the strength of what I had done well. I would be more than happy to have them look at my stories in the future.
