Develop original and adapted screenplays for feature films, short films, television series, and other visual storytelling projects. Work closely with clients to transform concepts, treatments, outlines, unfinished scripts, and source material into structured, engaging screenplays with strong narrative arcs and production-focused storytelling. Develop compelling characters with distinct motivations, conflicts, relationships, and emotional journeys while creating natural dialogue that supports characterisation and advances the story. Strengthen screenplay structure, pacing, scene progression, tension, conflict, tone, and thematic consistency to ensure each script maintains audience engagement from beginning to end. Provide screenplay development and rewriting support, including story outlining, scene development, character refinement, dialogue polishing, structural revisions, script editing, proofreading, and formatting. Adapt novels and other written material into screenplay form while translating internal thoughts and descriptive passages into visual, cinematic action suitable for film and television. Collaborate with clients throughout the writing and revision process, interpreting creative briefs, conducting relevant research, incorporating feedback, and delivering carefully structured scripts according to project requirements and deadlines. Maintain professional screenplay formatting and ensure scripts are clear, readable, consistent, and suitable for further development, pitching, or production. The work combines creative storytelling with disciplined script development, helping filmmakers, producers, and independent creators turn early-stage ideas into compelling screenplays with strong characters, purposeful scenes, engaging dialogue, and a clear cinematic vision.
