I'm Shravan, a backend developer with 3+ years building and fixing ASP.NET Core Web APIs in production. Most "slow API" issues come down to N+1 queries, missing indexes, or unbounded result sets — I find and fix them. In a recent demo, I took an endpoint from 35ms to under 1ms (~35x faster) by restructuring how EF Core queried the DB.
