I'm Shun - a Tokyo-based independent consultant. I've visited all 47 Japanese prefectures and traveled to 60+ countries. That combination is why I do this work.
Professionally, I spent years in venture capital (mainly investing in travel-related startups) and strategy consulting (focused on mobility and transportation). I now apply that analytical approach full-time to designing Japan itineraries for clients.
My specialties: local food markets, onsen, restaurants that Japanese people actually go to, and Japanese sake and wine. Not the tourist-trail version of Japan - the real one.
