I worked with a UK-based eCommerce store whose Google Merchant Center account was suspended due to “Website Needs Improvement” and broken link issues. After a detailed audit of both the website and Google Merchant Center, I identified that while the store had a professional design and sufficient content, the internal linking structure was not properly implemented. Several important pages were not correctly connected, which impacted both user experience and Google compliance. Additionally, I found that the policy pages (such as refund, shipping, and privacy policies) were not properly structured or clearly accessible. These policies were also either missing or incorrectly configured within the Merchant Center account.
