I have done lots of proofreading for actual publishing companies and authors, working with them directly. I don't have any specified education for proofreading but when I give the publishers/authors my work they seem very satisfied. Some books I have proofread (both grammatically and slightly plot-wise) are The Greatest Test of Courage, Dravincia (Book 1 and 2), The First Part of Sea Dragon Apocalypse, Level Up by Dan Sugralinov, and many more books.
