I was hired to analyze the hotel booking to look into how to better position for customers and to reduce cancellation. one of my observation was that major cancellations occur in lead time beyond 180 days, which we were able to address and reduce number of cancelation by introducing a "No cancellation policy" for customers booking for 180 days and beyond. Also we had to target big businesses and companies by peaching our environment as being conducive for meetings that would take days or weeks. This was due to the insight showing the drastic drop in bookings after summer. obviously, the popular notion about the hotel was for vacation and family time. We had to portray versatility.
