Steps to take:
1. Lets have a discussion on what you would like done. If you have design constraints or considerations, preferences or dislikes, these can all be talked about during this period.
2. With these information, I can start the design on the part(s)! Rest assured, I do take the DFXs such as Assembly and Manufacturing into consideration. I would also consider tolerance analysis for parts especially if there are specifications for it.
3. Once the designs are done, I will then start work on the engineering drawings, which includes all the recommended GD&T, and will make it such that you can immediately release it for machining.
4. When these are completed, this would be considered as Revision 0 and the whole package would be sent to you! If you need help in inputting the details of the sheet such as your name, or dates, part numbers that you want to have, I can do that without changing the Revision, so not to worry!
5. If you are satisfied, then the gig is accomplished!

I've been doing bespoke mechanical designs for about 7 years now and currently leading a team of 10 design engineers to also do customised designs. My core is in designing precision tables for various industries, ranging from semiconductor, additive manufacturing, biomedical, hard discs to mobility sensors. I am capable of both design and giving advice on design such as the different DFxs, error budgeting, tolerance analysis, FEA and PFMEA, which are my day to day job apart from the management part of it.

3D models: STEP files (.stp), Parasolid (.x_t), STL (.stl), eDrawing (.eprt), Dxf (.dxf) and Dwg (.dwg) 2D models: PDF (.pdf), eDrawing (.edrw), Dxf (.dxf) and Dwg (.dwg) If source files are required, then 3D Solidworks Part (.sldprt) and 2D Solidworks Drawing (.slddrw)
Are there any drawing standards that you follow?
Yes, ISO 5458:2018 Other standards can be discussed if required.
What are the general tolerances you normally work with?
ISO 2768-XX (depending on the part's usage or size) Other standards can be discussed if required.
What is the type of projection that your drawings come with?
Normally working with 3rd angle projection. Can be discussed if other projections are required.
