I will automate your processes in GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) by turning all your described steps that you'd normally do in GIMP into a plug-in.
Which you can then run automatically in one step (from menu or shortcut set up by you) which can/might-not include user inputs.
GIMP automation can include operations in GIMP, basically anything that you can do manually can be automated as long as it doesn't require human artistic judgements.
ie.
Opening up an image file and put a red rectangle at specific location then saving it can be automated.
Opening up an image file and put a rectangle that makes the image look artistically better can not be automated.
