Moonstead paints a positive and compelling vision of the future for the 2026 #FutureVisionXPRIZE Competition, the winner gets to make their film. Moonstead is set in 2067, where after three attempts at permanent Moon settlement failed for human as well as technical reasons, and a visionary Jim proposes a radical solution: take nature with us. But to turn a lunar base into humanity’s first true home beyond Earth, he must first learn what to let go of, and what to let in. It’s a story about home, nature, AI, personal growth, collaboration, and the idea that technology must be guided by the human heart if we are to build a future we truly want to live in. The project showcases my ability to transform an idea into a visually compelling cinematic experience using AI filmmaking techniques—combining storytelling, dramatic pacing, immersive visuals, sound, and professional trailer direction.
